My name is Charlie and I am the founder of Chaplins Canine Services, a dog walking, pet pop-ins and handcrafted dog products based in the Forest of Dean.

From day one my world revolved around animals, specifically dogs, to the point the first word I ever said was ‘dog’! I pursued my dreams of working with animals by obtaining a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management from Hartpury College in which I achieved a triple distinction star. I have also gained separate qualifications in Canine First Aid and Canine Nutrition to solidify my knowledge on canine health and wellbeing!

Although I have such a strong passion for dogs it must be said I absolutely adore all animals, during my time studying at Hartpury College I got the opportunity to work with over 70 species and thoroughly enjoyed every minute! Along side my studies I’ve spent so much of my personal time with various animals and even spent some time working on a dairy goat farm and an equine yard. From my second year of college to a few months after I finished my course I worked at a local home from home boarding and doggy daycare where I gained so much extra experience working with dogs.
